And outside, a large grassy area is all yours to enjoy. In addition, a fire pit with surrounding log stools provides the perfect spot for star gazing and a paddock at the rear of the property can be used for extra bounding room.

A 3-mile walk will bring you to Jervaulx, where you can enjoy the dramatic ruined arches of Jervaulx Abbey, explore the surrounding parkland then head through the gateway of the Yorkshire Dales, to miles of hill country, castles and wildlife to discover. Drop in to the Wensleydale Creamery, a 24-mile drive to the west through the dales, to pick up some famous cheese to take home, then explore the dale walks around the River Ure, including waterfalls like Hardraw Force, the country’s largest “single drop” fall, and beautiful villages tucked around the wooded valley.
