Cosy former granary set on a vineyard, close to Newborough beach, on the South West coast of Anglesey. Perfect to relax, enjoy activities and explore the coast and countryside of North Wales.
This gorgeous former granary, which sleeps 4 guests and two canine companions, is a stylish home set on the grounds of a working vineyard — a truly original North Wales escape. Explore the surrounding farmland and footpaths with your holidaying hounds before venturing into the Snowdonia National Park for a more exciting ramble.
The property itself is a beautifully restored granary, with traditional stone facade, and a wealth of original features inside. The main space is a sociable open-plan lounge, kitchen, and dining room. The kitchen is a modern, well-equipped hub, with a breakfast bar so you can gather around and keep the chef company. Beside it, the dining table offers a special place to share stories from the day. Then head into the lounge, under the granary’s exposed beams, to relax beside the wood burner – that’s if the dogs will give you a look-in. The property has two lovely bedrooms — a double and a twin — both with warm, inviting decor. And, the outdoor space is just as welcoming. There’s an enclosed courtyard, the perfect spot for a BBQ, and even a special dog-walking paddock.
As soon as you wake up, you’ll want to venture into the farm and vineyard that surround the property to get a sneak peek into how the local Conwy wines are made. There are also orchards and beehives for you to discover before going on to explore the Isle of Anglesey. 3 miles brings you to Newborough Beach, a long sandy beach stretching from Llanddwyn Island to Abermenai Point. Or, treat your canine companion to a wilder walk along the dramatic, craggy coast of Rhosneigr, 12 miles away. Take a boat ride to explore the island or try out one of the dog-friendly eateries.
