A beautiful cottage which is located on a working farm. Perfect for couples to escape and enjoy stunning scenery just a short walk down to the coast.
Boasting sea views, a fire pit and a warming wood burner, embark on a romantic escape with your four-pawed third wheel and settle in southwest Scotland. This charming bolthole has a coffee machine to kick start your early morning adventures to the coast where you might spot dolphins in the glittering seas before you return home and indulge in tit bits and fresh fruit from the garden.
Bursting with charm, inviting style and natural light, let your pup sprawl out at your feet as you find it easy to relax on the comfortable sofa. Transform the open-plan living space into a snug sanctuary worthy of tail thumps and snores by firing up the wood burner to give your evening a soundtrack of crackling logs and a backdrop of dancing flames. Enjoy al fresco flickers and light the firepit in the pretty garden where you can see across to the Isle of Man and Mull of Galloway. With these gorgeous views, devour sizzling BBQ banquets followed by fresh raspberries whilst your pup chases their tail. Enjoy a peaceful sleep in the tranquil king-size bedroom and take your morning coffee from the machine out onto the veranda for the perfect morning wake up call.
Treat your wag-tailed pal to a sandy stick chase and visit the sheltered shores of Luce sands (21 miles) where there’s a wealth of marine wildlife to keep your eyes peeled for. Closer to home is the beach at Monreith (4 miles), a good spot for invigorating sea swims followed by date night sunsets. 4 miles in the opposite direction are the remains of Chapel Finian which are worth a visit on one of your morning dog walks.
Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
