Romantic retreat in idyllic location near Llandindrod Wells, perfect for activities, wildlife, countryside and culture. One of two detached lodges in private elevated position with superb rural views.
This contemporary cedar-clad lodge, surrounded by rolling hills and countryside, sleeps two people and welcomes one dog. It is the perfect setting for a romantic getaway with the pup along for the ride, or some well deserved R&R for just you and your furry companion.
Enjoy the stunning views from the comfort of the sofa, as a content pooch pads around the cabin, warming his paws on the underfloor heating. Cook up a storm in the industrial-style kitchen and enjoy a meal around the table with the bi-fold doors open, letting in a fresh breeze and letting out a curious hound to explore the garden. Relax in the hammock with a good book and spot stars together from the decking before heading inside to the inviting bedroom. Exposed natural wood ceilings, beams and a bespoke wooden bedframe all add to the rustic, yet elegant feel of the property. Enjoy morning coffee at the bistro table outside and plan the day’s adventures, whilst Rover basks in the sunshine.
Discover the vast hills and great moorlands of Radnor Forest (15.5 miles) and enjoy the far-reaching views from the steep narrow valleys of Cader Idris and Snowdonia in the north-west. Walk as far as your two, or four, legs will take you around Warren Wood, part of Radnor Forest, and listen to the rumble of Water-break-its-neck, a waterfall cascading down a moss-lined gorge. After working up an appetite, enjoy a treat at one of the local human and dog-friendly pubs in Llandrindod Wells (1.5 miles).
Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
