Lovely comfortable, homely cottage to spend a few days or a week. Very dog friendly , walks on the doorstep plus a very good pub The Red Lion and small but well stocked local shop in the village. Sidmouth, Lyme Regis etc all close by. Parking outside the cottage can be difficult . The cottage has beams and a low ceiling downstairs so if you are oveRead morer 6ft be careful. We would definitely stay at Sidbury Retreat again. Hide

Pleasant situation; very quiet neighbours. Parking outside cottage at this time no problem but careful with the wall. Conservatory pleasant enough but more but more of an add on that proper conservatory. Need for anyone over 5'10" to watch head-space and stairs could be difficult. Local shop ideal for essentials and newspaper; pleasant proprietors.Read more Hide

First time holiday renters so not sure what to expect. We found it well above our expectations. Comfortable, cosy, very high spec. A south facing garden with beautiful views. Bought our 2 dogs with us and enjoyed the millennium field to let them run free. Many lovely walks around. We shall rent again from you.
