This holiday property is perfect for couples, growing families or a trio of friends seeking home comforts without sacrificing style. The village of Sidbury has plenty to offer. There is a shop, village pub and a local church. Footpaths and bridleways are accessible.
Take time out with your faithful friend to enjoy the great beauty of South Devon from the haven of this retreat. Step out from your pretty cottage together to wander through the village and into the scenic Sid Valley, with its impressive red cliffs and verdant hills. This bright, inviting holiday home is the perfect base for up to three guests and one faithful four-legged friend to enjoy bounding through beautiful countryside and exploring the Jurassic Coast.
Encourage your well-behaved pet to relax downstairs with you, where he or she can stretch out on the fluffy rug in front of the wood burner-effect gas fire. With exposed beams and French doors onto your private, enclosed garden, the lounge is also the ideal place for you to watch TV or play music through the Amazon Echo Dot. The well-equipped kitchen leads into a conservatory area where you can dine while looking out on to the garden. On warmer days, you and your happy hound might also enjoy soaking up the sunshine over a BBQ in your private, enclosed garden. Two bedrooms, both with TVs, can be found upstairs, together with a shower room.
There is so much in this corner of South Devon to delight both you and your dog. Stroll along beside the River Otter, with its abundance of wildlife, or head 2 miles into the seaside town of Sidmouth for a cream tea. You will find plenty of friendly cafes content to welcome you and your lovable canine – and Jacob’s Ladder beach has a dog-friendly section where Rover can romp in the shallows and roll on the sand.
Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
