Despite the weather we had a great time staying at the cottage. It is a perfect base for exploring the area and had everything we needed. It's a short walk to the dog friendly pub and there are plenty of walks on the doorstep. We wouldn't hesitate to return.

Lovely quiet location, at the start of an ideal lane for dog walking. Takes you up and around Colmers Hill. Local inn is excellent but not open all week. Close access to roads leading to nearby towns and resorts, Bridport, West Bay, Seatown. Very pleasant stay.

During my first visit in April 2022 I knew a return would be on the cards as it's such a beautifully presented cottage in a lovely location. A glorious week, blue skies and spoilt for choice of places to visit/local walks. Further afield we can recommend a day trip to Sidmouth plus Athelhampton House and Gardens.
