Families with a couple of canine companions can enjoy a new leash of life with a stay at this attractive three-bedroom bungalow. Set on a quiet lane, the property is only a short scamper to the picturesque sandy beach at Totland and is a fantastic location for windswept walks along the coast. It boasts an impressively large garden, with stacks of room for the kids and pups to run and play.

 

The property benefits from natural light flooding in through the large windows and patio doors and has bright and cheerful decor to lift your spirits. From the kitchen, you can admire sweeping views across the bay to the mainland, and watch the sun go down as you enjoy a homecooked meal round the dining table. The sunny conservatory is a wonderful place to sit and read or daydream about chasing rabbits, while the kids will love spending time in the bunk room, which even has its own wash basin. Outside, the sprawling garden is great for picnics and games of hide-and-seek. The grown-ups can sneak away to the secluded courtyard for a cheeky glass of red while the most energetic members of the family frolic around the large lawn, which is safely enclosed by shrubs, hedging and walls.

 

Fancy a swim in the sea? The bungalow is less than half a mile from Totland Bay, where canines can play out of season. At neighbouring Colwell Bay, you’ll find zones that are dog-friendly all year round – and there are stunning views of the historic coastal defences to boot. Mottistone Gardens (7 miles) are ideal for games of fetch, while The Needles Landmark Attraction (2.5 miles) is not to be missed. It has children’s rides and a 4D cinema, and dogs on a lead are allowed in the outdoor areas.

Spacious and well maintained older property with very large outside garden in a quiet location that is not overlooked by neighboring properties. Within walking distance of both the bay and Freshwater high street (good all day breakfast at Sugar Loaf). Parking on property for at least 2 vehicles.

Seahaze was a magical place ideally located with views of the sea. The property is enormous so my wife and I rattled around with our Jack Russell and Chi-pin for the week. There are so many readily accessible places on foot and by car. We clocked up over 100,000 steps during our stay. Useful local shop a short stroll downhill. A trip into FreshwateRead morer is a must as is one to nearby Yarmouth. The bungalow itself is a mixture of old and new with quality fixtures and double glazing. Just perfect. Hide

Great cottage a short walk to the beach. A local shop is at the end of the road as is a Chinese Take Away. Super cottage with all the amenities you would need for a week away.

A pleasant December stay for me - it made a change from my mid-terrace town house. Of course you don't get the benefit of the big garden at that time of year, but the bungalow met my requirements very well. My family were nearby and I already knew the area so it worked out fine from my point of view.

Beautifully presented property with sea views. The cottage was clean, well equipped and had a lovely home from home feel. The garden equipment (and space) kept the children entertained for hours. With close proximity to the beach, park and shops we had everything we needed as a family.

Lovely cottage with sea views from the kitchen. Super comfy bed, slept like a baby! Very clean & text message from Kai on arrival day to let us know it was all ready for us which was a lovely touch. Surprise treats very nice apart from the milk which was nearly a month out of date! Superb weather was a big bonus. Loved our stay at Sea Haze Cottage

A well located cottage for the beach, shops and places to eat. We enjoyed the different places you could walk straight from the door, to The Needles, Freshwater Bay, Yarmouth and Golden Hill Fort Country Park. Cottage very comfortable, spacious and well equipped

CONS : Lack of mirrors/plug sockets in master and twin bedrooms, only five chairs in living room when sleeps six, rug in living room badly stained and needs replacing, inner front door very stiff to open resulting in door handle breaking, minimum toilet tissue provided. Amazing place to stay.Comfortable with everything you need ie kitchen equipment to games to keep the kids amused (home from home). The garden is amazing..Plenty of beaches, restaurants and attractions to keep the whole family entertained (Osborne House, Escape rooms, Tapnell Farm/Aqua park/archery, laser quest & bowling & so much more) I'd say bookRead more early in peak season as the slots sell out. We couldn't fault this property. So comfortable, well appointed and well positioned, for walking, for two lovely beaches (Totland and Colwell). The gardens are a delight, including the patio area for outdoor dining, and plenty of shade (or sunny areas). We had such a relaxing break. It's our second visit to this spacious clean bungalow which is situated in quiet location with a Sea view to the front. We enjoyed watching the spectacular sunsets and the lovely garden. 10 min walk to Totland bay beach, from where you can see the Needles. The housekeeper was very helpful and friendly. NB you are required to be out of the property Read moreby 9am on leaving day which is rather a challenge! Bungalow was amazing, loads of room, light & airy. Garden was brilliant for or boxer. Location was perfect, quiet but easy walk to shops or down to the sea. Close to loads of well marked foot paths & bridal ways. I really cannot fault it, will definitely be booking again.

Sea Haze is a fantastic place to stay. Great position with sea views and super quiet without being too far from all amenities.
