The ground floor also features the first of the cottage’s four bright and restful bedrooms – a charming double. The remaining first-floor bedrooms comprise a delightful single room, a twin room with en-suite shower room, and a spacious king-size room with sofa, dressing table, TV and en-suite bathroom. The enclosed garden offers splendid views over Windermere and has a patio area ideal for enjoying a meal alfresco or a glass of wine in the evening. Beyond is the large lawn; perfect for dogs to play.
This is a fabulous area for dogs and their owners with miles of blissful walks to enjoy with splendid views. Nearby attractions include Hill Top – the former home of Beatrix Potter, and the Claife Viewing Station (both 1 mile) which affords a stunning view over Windermere. Dogs are welcome to join you on the ferry across the lake and on the local steam railways. You can also explore the beautiful Grizedale Forest (5.5 miles) and the breathtaking Esthwaite Water (2 miles).
