A traditional fisherman’s cottage just a moment away from the hustle and bustle of St Ives with private parking.
Soak up the traditional Cornish charm of this quaint fisherman’s cottage just steps away from the hustle and bustle of the pretty seaside town of St Ives. Sleeping four people over two bedrooms and welcoming one waggy-tailed friend, it’s the perfect coastal bolthole for families or small groups of friends who want to blend tradition and style on their Cornish coastal getaway.
You can’t help but feel welcome the moment you step inside this wonderful property, which is accessed through a shared entrance. Overflowing with coastal charm, the cottage is fittingly decorated in a seaside theme throughout. You are welcomed by a quaint open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The well-equipped kitchen has everything you need to whip up a meal for your loved ones, which you can enjoy at the communal dining table. After dinner, crack open a cold drink and enjoy a movie in the lounge area, or take the short stroll into town to explore the local pubs. There are a number of dog-friendly bars nearby, so your pup doesn’t have to miss out on all the fun. At the end of the night, there are two nautical-themed bedrooms to choose from.
Dogs are welcome all year round at Bamaluz Beach (0.5 miles), which is overlooked by the remains of the Wheal Dream tin mine. Alternatively, you can head to the dog-friendly Mexico Towans Beach (8.5 miles), which is also a good spot for bodyboarding. Dogs are welcome in the outdoor section of the Eden Project (46 miles) too: there are almost 20 acres of gardens that are brimming over with plants, sculptures and play equipment to explore, and you are welcome to take your pup into the undercover dining area of the Eden Kitchen cafe.
Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
