Set in an elevated position this spacious bungalow offers fabulous views across the estuary which can be enjoyed from the front terrace and is a short stroll to the beach, shops, pubs and restaurants.

A fabulous single-storey property offering absolutely gorgeous views of the River Torridge estuary, situated in the fishing village of Instow, this property would make a great choice if you were looking for a relaxed holiday close to a quiet beach. There are many miles of walks to be enjoyed, either along the South West Coast Path or along the banks of the Torridge towards Bideford (3.5 miles).

A flight of external steps leads from the pavement, up to a terrace seating area at the front of this property, and on towards the front door. Once inside, you will be met with a welcoming open-plan living area which has been set out in an L-shape, with the lounge tucked around the corner from the dining area. Both the lounge and kitchen have huge picture windows, which not only flood both rooms with light but also offer estuary views. The property has two bedrooms, a king-size and a twin, as well as a generously-sized bathroom with a shower over the bath. In addition to the terrace at the front of the property, you will find outside space to the rear where there is a lawn complete with pretty summerhouse.

Wake up each morning and start the day with a stroll down to the village beach (0.3 miles), before stopping for breakfast at the welcoming cafe which can be found within the village’s well-stocked delicatessen. Head back to the property and gather together everything you’ll need the day ahead, then perhaps visit the huge beach at Westward Ho! a section of which is open to dogs all year round, or go down to the harbour town of Bideford, with its interesting array of shops and a weekly market.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

We love this place. The views are to die for whatever the weather. This is a real home from home. Comfortable sofas and beds. Nice bedding. Large rooms. The dog loves it here. Mrs Ford, the owner greets us when we arrive and waves us off on departure which is a lovely touch. We have booked for next year, it will be our 3rd visit. Say no more Milk iRead moren the fridge for when guests arrive. We walk to the beach 3 times a day, it is less that 5 minutes away. John's, the deli, is worth a cream. Hide

We enjoyed a fabulous week in a great property with views to die for. It was clean, very comfortable, only criticism being the weak shower. We have booked another week.

The property from the photos clearly show you what you are getting , you can't be disappointed based on what you see , the rooms are a good size , the views are amazing and only a short walk minutes away to the beachfront and some lovely bars and restaurants,,, in great location ,,,
