A homely fisherman’s cottage in the picturesque village of Appledore, this cosy bolthole is in a superb location. Close to the Devon and Cornwall border, it enjoys the best of both counties and is a mere stone’s throw from Appledore’s beating heart. Your dogs will thoroughly approve of the array of dog-friendly beaches and attractions nearby, too. Whether they are enjoying tummy tickles and head scratches in the lounge or are exploring the surrounds by your side, you are sure to have a wonderful break together.
A pretty hideaway perfect for a couple, this little cottage has everything you could need and more. Decorated with neutral colours and pastel hues, it is cosy and inviting throughout the year. To kick start your day, sip a cup of coffee and watch the morning news from the snuggly embrace of the lounge sofa. Take the dogs for an early stroll and if its nice weather, rest a spell in the private patio area accessed via a drang. The well-appointed kitchen has all the utensils you need to prepare delicious meals, and there is a small dining table and chairs. Upstairs, you will find one super comfortable king-size bedroom and a single room. The cute and compact bathroom is also located upstairs too.
Less than a mile from Appledore centre, there are a number of shops and eateries at your fingertips (and paws). In Appledore, there are two great dog-friendly pubs, The Seagate and The Beaver Inn. Both serve a delicious selection of classic pub meals and drinks. Just across the water, Instow village has a year-round dog-friendly beach that your dog will love to explore, and 1 mile away, Northam Burrows Country Park offers lots of beautiful walks surrounded by lovely scenery.
