This delightful Devon retreat is situated in the heart of the quaint seaside village of Instow, which has a beautiful beach and amenities all within easy reach, making this the perfect getaway.
Perfectly placed for village life with pubs, restaurants and a scrummy deli pretty much on the doorstep, you can step outside and rub wet noses with the locals when you stay at this property. Instow beach is just a short walk - a hound’s paradise where you can go barking mad and chase some waves! The Tarka Tail… sorry Trail, goes from the village and here begins an adventure. Back at the property, there is a comfortable balcony for watching the sunset with a glass of wine, a bowl of water and some nibbles.
This is a two-storey holiday apartment and a half, with an outstanding finish, a quirky upside-down layout and plenty of space. Leave your walking boots in the entrance to the perfectly formed kitchen and head up to the living area. Neutral colours, comfy furnishings and doors onto the balcony all enhance natural light and your relaxation. There is a small furnished patio area accessed from the kitchen or by steps down from the balcony which your pup will enjoy sitting out on. Here you can all take in the views of the sea and Appledore and Lundy while having a bite to eat.
Instow is such a great location for exploring this part of North Devon. A hidden gem is Tapeley Park Gardens, less than 2 miles, which has woodlands for walkies, a Victorian pond, a tearoom (bound to have treats), croquet lawn and the family’s pug graves dating back to 1905. Best not take the hound to visit those!
Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
