Ross Cottage is an ideal base for a visit to North Devon being close to the coast but deep in the lovely Devon countryside. The cottage is extremely comfortable and spacious, well equipped to a very high standard and occupies a quiet location in the heart of Buckland Brewer. The cottage has recently been refreshed and is stunning, particularly the kitchen. The village pub is within walking distance (5mins) and served really nice meals. The owners of the property live next door and were on hand should we have needed anything. They were very friendly and nothing would have been too much trouble had we needed them. We felRead moret very safe staying there during the pandemic as cleanliness and hygiene was first class. Would thoroughly recommend a visit. Hide

Ross Cottage is beautifully furnished and cleanliness is of a high standard. The owners need to consider getting an EFK as flies are a major problem, especially in the kitchen which made meal times a bit miserable. Dogs are not allowed on the furniture or in the bedrooms and the owners also monitor the garden to ensure that you are picking up your Read moredog poo. The bedrooms are large, both en-suite but the rooms get quite hot during the night so taking some electric fans would be a good idea. Hide

This was our 2nd visit to Ross Cottage. This is a spotlessly clean, comfortable and well equipped cottage. We felt at home from the start, there is plenty of room to relax, the beds are very comfortable and the owners have done a super job. The garden is ample and great for a dog. The property is set in a small village which is really quiet and preRead moretty. Additional benefit is the ample parking outside. This cottage is ideal for exploring both Devon and Cornwall e.g. Port Issac and Tintagel Hide

Ross cottage was amazing. 2 Huge bedrooms both with ensuite. One bedroom had a walk in shower the other bedroom had a bath with a shower. It is a very large property, very tranquil. You need a car to get to shops, restaurants etc. It is set in a small friendly village. I could not fault it.
