Accessed via eight external steps, the cottage features a light, fresh and welcoming lounge which is a great space to relax in with comfortable seating, a wood burner and TV with games console/DVD player. The spacious kitchen/diner offers a stylish and fully equipped kitchen and a pretty dining area overlooking the garden. The ground floor also has a cosy bunk bedroom with small TV/DVD and a shower room. Stairs lead directly from the lounge to the first floor where you will find two further bedrooms – a king-size room and a twin zip-and-link. Please note, this cottage does have some changes of level and sloping ceilings. Heading outside via the patio doors, the fully enclosed garden features a large lawn area which is ideal for playful pups to get some exercise in, and there’s a patio with furniture so you can sit back and enjoy the evening sunshine.
With tranquil surroundings, this is a wonderful base for a relaxing holiday. There are numerous destinations on the island which are dog-friendly including Queen Victoria’s Osborne Estate (11.5 miles), Robin Hill Country Park (8.5 miles) and Carisbrooke Castle (6 miles). Your dogs can also help you explore Blackgang Chine (4 miles), Chillerton Down (3 miles) and the Needles (13 miles) or you can follow the Shepherd’s Trail which leads from the coast to the heart of the island. Dogs are also welcome at many pubs, restaurants and cafes in Newport (7 miles) and Ventnor (8.5 miles).
