Westhay Moor Nature Reserve (3 miles) on the Somerset Levels also welcomes dogs on leads, where you may catch sight of Exmoor ponies and other wildlife such as otters and ospreys. If you fancy a beach run with your waggy-tailed ones, then try dog-friendly Brean (16 miles).

Lovely cottage in good location. Owner was very helpful and left some lovely local produce for us for when we arrived - bread, cheese, cider, butter, apples etc. Hot tub was nice also - although it was at the end of the garden - should maybe have been located closer to the house! Not a major issue though.

Great location for exploring the local area, even a wine fridge fully stocked with an honesty box. The hot tub was a hit too! Lots of recommendations from Nicki the owner who was super helpful,

The welcome pack was a really nice touch and also included treats for our dog. The garden is fully enclosed and so we had no concerns about the dog. We will be back!!
