Stepping into this charming cottage you will find the welcoming lounge. With its comfortable seating, wood burner and TV/DVD, this is a delightful space for relaxation. The dining room is perfect for sharing a quiet meal and has a well-stocked bookcase and French windows opening onto the patio. The light and stylish kitchen is ideal for preparing any meal. The ground floor also features a stylish tiled shower room with underfloor heating. Two elegantly understated bedrooms are on the first floor, both with views over the village green – there’s a pretty king-size room with a feature fireplace and a comfortable single room. Outside, the patio garden is a lovely open space for you and your four-legged friend to relax in and enjoy the peaceful surroundings with a view over towards the church. The bistro-style seating and bench allow you to sit back with an al fresco meal. Please note, there is a right of pedestrian access through the back yard to the neighbouring cottage.
The picturesque village of Satterthwaite has a great dog-friendly pub and is near the popular Grizedale Forest (4 miles) which you can help your dog explore. There are wonderful walks throughout the area with local dog-welcoming attractions and walks including Wray Castle (7 miles), Lakeland Motor Museum (6.5 miles), Carron Crag (2.5 miles) and Claife Heights (8.5 miles).
Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
