Simply stunning Cornish retreat with superb views across Falmouth Bay over St Just in Roseland, this is the absolute perfect choice for a luxury escape for families and friends alike.
Boasting breathtaking views of Falmouth Bay, this charming Cornish cottage sleeps six people over three bedrooms and welcomes two canine companions. This period property exudes character in every single room and is the perfect coastal retreat for families and groups of friends who want to get away from it all with their pups in tow. You’ll love wonderful views, and your pups will adore exploring the enclosed garden as their favourite humans strike up the BBQ to dine alfresco.
Step inside the main entrance and you’ll find that the cottage opens onto a split level: down into the living areas or up into the bedrooms. Head down into the living room and you’ll be greeted by a view of the creek – the perfect place to relax after a glorious day of dog walking. There’s also a snug where the kids can do battle on the games console. The chic kitchen has everything to keep budding chefs happy, while the dining area offers ever-changing views across the creek. If it’s a warm evening, head outside and take the steps down to the enclosed garden and terrace area. This is the perfect place to strike up the BBQ or enjoy the sunset. At the end of the day, there are three wonderful bedrooms on the first floor to unwind in, including one with its own balcony.
Pups on leads are welcome at the mighty Pendennis Castle (14 miles), which was built by Henry VIII. Dogs are allowed inside the buildings, as well as in the outdoor seating area of the cafe. Alternatively, take your pups for a stroll at Carne Beach (7 miles), which is dog friendly all year round. Located on the lovely Roseland Peninsula, this peaceful beach is sheltered by the dramatic Nare Head, which rises 300 feet over the bay.
