Settle into the serenely decorated lounge on plush sofas by a toasty wood burner. Rest your feet (or tired paws) by the TV or with a good book. A bright and airy dining room seats 20 with ease, while another sitting room has a pool table and more comfy sofas. Indulge in country living in the spacious, flagged floor kitchen, with grand dining table and a warming Aga adding to the country feel. Six super king-size zip-and-links and a family room all have fine soft furnishings and crisp decoration for maximum comfort. Most have en-suite shower rooms and the stunning family bathroom gives a touch of luxury with roll top bath and large separate shower. Outside, rolling hills and stunning views are ideal for enjoying the country air with family and friends while pups bound around contentedly. A hot tub awaits to take in those views, and a 3-acre footgolf course provides fantastic oddball fun.

On the fringe of the Peak District village of Chelmorton, head to the local village pub for kicking off muddy boots and relaxing. The stunning Chatsworth House, Farm Shop and Gardens are a 12-mile drive away and perfect for treating your four-footed explorers to an array of walks. The popular towns of Bakewell (8 miles) and Buxton (around 5 miles) brim with independent shops, cafes and all-important canine-welcoming pubs to enjoy. Explore exceptional outdoor pursuits with the nearby Monsal Trail (8 miles).
