You’ll love tinkering about in the music room, and your pups will love snoozing in front of the wood burner while their favorite humans chat their night away.

With its fine wood panelling and beautiful stained-glass windows, this grand house is a pleasure to explore. Head to the kitchen and cook a feast for your loved ones. Host a glamorous dinner party in front of the wood burner in the ornate dining room, or step outside into the enclosed garden and orchard, strike up the BBQ and dine alfresco while your pups run free. After dinner, settle down in front of the wood burner in the stylish living room; enjoy some precious me-time in the snug; watch the stars come out in the conservatory; enjoy a soak in one of the original Victorian roll-top bathtubs; or get lively in the games’ room. At the end of the day there are four gorgeous bedrooms to choose from. In the morning, take a stroll along the river with your pups before returning to the house for a game of croquet on the lawn.

The Birks of Aberfeldy (0.5 miles) are practically on your doorstep. There’s a great circular walk there that takes you past the Falls of Moness. Further afield, enjoy a historic walk with your pups at Scone Palace (32 miles). Moot Hill, which stands immediately in front of the palace, was the ancient crowning site of Scottish kings.

Fabulous home! Everything we needed. And lovely and warm. Stunning house to stay in and a great base for exploring. We celebrated a 9th, 60th and 82nd birthday with the family and the house catered for us all. We were sad to leave.

An amazing house, cosy, comfy, ideal location at edge of Aberfeldy with great views. Lots of extras were provided, board games, books, DVDs and logs galore. Hope to go back again maybe next year.

One of the best houses weve stayed in as a family group, had everything we expected / needed and more. The dressing up boxes were a great hit and created hours of fun.

Very well equipped house with everything you could possibly need. We cooked each night and everything we needed was there. Beautiful views from the house which is right in the river. A lovely garden at the back of the house if the weather was warmer.

Had an amazing time and very relaxing and comfortable house to stay in. Very nice and warm now in winter months, which was a massive plus when we arrived in cold weather and for weekend. Recommend this place and very quiet place to stay too

We stayed here over New Year and we couldn't have wished for a better house, location and community, added to this was the magic of the snow falling as the piper played in the New Year in the little local festival in the square. Beautiful place, the pictures do not do it justice, this is a massive mansion with space for 8-10 people to live very comfortably and not get in each others way. Aberfeldy is a delight, and we are already planning our next visit. Loads to do in the surrounding area rain or shine, dont miss it!

Fantastic property, well cared for and equipped with everything you could need (board games, DVDs, NowTV, Sky, all kitchen equipment etc etc etc). Great location a 5 min walk for Aberfeldy town centre but with wonderful countryside views. Really enjoyed our stay and will look to go back!

Beautiful house with more than enough room for 7 seven of us. The piano and harmonium - both in good playable condition - summerhouse, garden and games are a bonus. Highly recommended.

We have had the most amazing week at the beautiful house and gardens, we were extremely lucky with the weather so not only did we have a really spacious comfy house but we had a lovely safe (for the dogs) mature garden for us all to enjoy. The only thing we couldnt find all week was a whisk so you cant say its not well equipped! Our family of 9, ages 1 to 70, had a wonderful stay at Riverside House in late May to early June, 2022. The house is spacious yet cozy with so many comfortable nooks to relax in. Everyone found their happy place! The garden is a wonderful area for young children to play and we enjoyed the summer house while supervising them. Does EXACTLY what it said on the tin; this is a throwback to the days some years ago, with even a drawing room! It's big enough for a large group, but still have enough privacy. The various gadgets, acoutements added to the ambience, and the village is only a few minutes away. Ideal place.

The house was gorgeous. Full of character and Arts and Crafts charm, it was extremely spacious and was able to accommodate a wheelchair user in the ground floor bedroom and downstairs toilet. The dining room was lovely with a rounded bay window and every room in the house has beautiful features in keeping with the period.
