This two-bedroom bungalow is conveniently located 1 mile from Loch Ness and is ideal for exploring this beautiful stretch of water and enjoying the many walks along its shores with your canine companion. At the end of the day, relax in your private hot tub while your furry friend snoozes by the wood burning stove.

The property has a cosy open-plan lounge/diner, ideal for cosy evenings in. Two bedrooms promise a good night’s sleep for all. Outside is an enclosed garden and patio area with furniture, BBQ and hot tub – perfect for soaking those muscles after a day out while your furry friend dreams of their encounters with Nessie. Storage is available for outdoor equipment.

The property is just 200 metres from a hotel/restaurant serving locally sourced food and fine whiskies, where dogs are welcome in the beer garden. You’re also less than a mile from the shops and restaurants of Drumnadrochit, known as the Nessie capital of Loch Ness. Just 1.5 miles away is a departure point for cruises on the Loch – dogs are welcome on the boat. After a hearty breakfast you might want to travel the 2.5 miles to the start point of the 6-mile walk up Meall Fuar-Mhonaidh, the highest summit round Loch Ness with breathtaking views across to Ben Nevis and the Cairngorms. A little further afield, 16 miles away is Inverness, the cultural capital of Scotland, and 3 miles from the city is the emotive and atmospheric battlefield of Culloden which welcomes dogs on leads

A beautiful & cosy cottage situated in a great location for exploring Loch Ness and the surrounding area. Wendy is a fantastic host - leaving some little treats for our arrival and easily contactable if we had any queries. The cottage itself is more than well equipped - we had everything we needed and only topped up on products that we used during Read moreour stay such as toilet paper and bleach. Excellent cottage - warm throughout (even without the log burner), clean and lots of facilities / equipment provided. The hot tub was fantastic! Location was great and the cottage easy to find. Lots of leaflets on walks in the area are provided and Wendy was very helpful and quick to respond. A wonderful Valentines week in this romantic cottage. A few minutes from a great pub and restaurant, and not far from the main shop. Great walks and a great wee village. Didn't spot Nessie though.

Ideal Christmas getaway close to Loch Ness. The cottage was perfect for us and our dog with a secure garden. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and food. Although in a small cul de sac in a small village, the property was secluded with an enclosed garden so our dog could get out safely. This is a delightful cottage in a lovely area. Lots of great walks and many nice eateries within walking distance. The cottage is very well equipped and the owner left thoughtful welcome gifts. The hot tub was a bonus indulgence. Would definitely recommend. Great value for money.

We loved our stay here. From the moment we arrived it was clean, tidy and welcoming, with everything you need and more. There was cleaning products available to use , ice in the freezer, strawberries, cakes and prosecco for us, there is plenty of storage in the bedrooms, hairdryer supplied.
