This two-floor apartment is the perfect base to explore the world heritage site of the Lake District with everything you need to make it a memorable holiday.

This is the ideal spot to enjoy all the lakes has to offer with everything you need right on your doorstep in the picturesque village of Grasmere. In the village itself a host of shops, eateries and plenty of quirky niche shops for you to choose from or pick from a variety of walks out of the village. The next village is the well know Ambleside, right at the top of Lake Windermere, where you will find a variety of different activities such as taking a boat tour on the lake, hiring a kayak or paddle boat and enjoying the amazing views from the lakeside. Keswick and Windermere are only a short drive away, so you won’t be lost for choice.

Head up the oak frame stairs to the front door which boasts views across the river and fells behind. On entry you will find yourself in the spacious kitchen/diner with lovely high ceilings and views from the window. Inside you will find everything you need for holiday with electric oven, hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer dryer plus dining table and chairs. Through the archway is the lounge with a three-seater sofa and armchair, perfect for a movie or games night. There is also a TV with surround sound and chest coffee table. Into the hall we find the bathroom equipped with WC and shower over bath, perfect to wash away the day’s activities. On the first floor we have the shower room and WC along with the twin room with views across the river again and finally the king size room and all rooms still retain the original beams.

On the outside decking there is a table and chairs to enjoy views across the river and to gaze up at the night sky. There is private off-road parking for one car

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
