This property occupies the first-floor of the converted hayloft. Upon entry, you’ll step into the open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area. The welcoming and homely space has doors opening on to a Juliet balcony, so guests can enjoy the views of the countryside from the comfortable seating in the lounge. The kitchen and dining area offer everything you’ll need to experience home cooked meals throughout your stay. This location boasts a king-size bedroom alongside a contemporarily styled bathroom. One child can be accommodated on a temporary single fold away bed by arrangement with the owner. Outside, guests can enjoy an enclosed patio garden to the front of the property complete with seating and a BBQ. Guests can also use the garage to store large items such as bicycles.
Centrally located in the village of Weare Giffard, right under the shadow of the handsome village church, you’ll find a charming pub offering locally produced cider on your doorstep. Also, within walking distance is the famous Tarka Trail, a 32-mile walking and cycling route running through some of Devon’s most scenic countryside. For those looking to explore the local area, you’ll find attractions aplenty, drive just 2.5 miles to visit Dartington Crystal or 4.5 miles to arrive at RHS Rosemoor Gardens (no dogs allowed). Travel 6.5 miles to reach the bustling market town of Bideford, continue a further 3 miles to visit the popular seaside town of Westward Ho! home to eateries, independent shops and a sandy beach, perfect for dog walks.
