A characterful cottage with views across the rugged coastline and walks from your doorstep, making this this perfect place for a family getaway with four legged friends.

Positioned close to the 12th Century St Gennys Church, set amongst fields bordered by National Trust land and set high on the hill above Crackington Haven, the hamlet of St. Gennys lies within the Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It boasts panoramic sea views which extend out to Bude Bay, Lundy Island and the Atlantic. A walk along the coastal path or short drive will take you to nearby Crackington Haven, where you will find a local pub, cafes and a stoney foreshore with a sandy beach at low tide. The surrounding area has much to offer with local attractions, fine beaches, secluded coves and small fishing villages. Venture to nearby Bude for more amenities.

From the front door, you enter into a wonderfully cosy open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with vaulted ceilings, exposed beams and a wood burner. The lounge area has a sofa and armchair so cosy up in front of the wood burner and watch your favourite TV show on the Smart TV. The cottage style kitchen has everything you need and is equipped with an electric oven and hob, fridge, microwave, coffee machine and dishwasher to create a family meal after a day exploring. There is also a breakfast bar with seating for you to enjoy your lazy breakfast. The wonderfully spacious king-size and twin bedrooms have vanity areas and views over the countryside and village church to the nearby bay. There’s also a children’s bunk-bedroom, again with views across to sea. The contemporary bathroom has shower over bath and WC to unwind after your long day exploring the various walks nearby.

Outside, there is a spacious terrace which is furnished with a picnic bench so you can dine alfresco. The garden is perfect for relaxing in and is fully enclosed so ideal for dogs. There is a shared utility room available with washing machine and tumble dryer. Parking for 1 car is available in the shared driveway with further roadside parking nearby (subject to availability).

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
