A perfect retreat for two, this spacious studio style cottage is ideally located for touring Cornwall’s coastlines, fishing villages and moorland.

This roomy and open-plan studio-style cottage is located in an idyllic spot near to the pretty village of Mawgan Porth, nestled within peaceful countryside yet close enough to afford easy exploration of Cornwall’s stunning coastlines. Perfect for a couples’ getaway along with their best four-legged friend, this property is set over a single level and contains everything you could possibly need during your stay here. The enclosed patio area outside offers a great spot from which to sit and watch the resident ducks nearby.

There are no steps for little paws to worry about here, with everything easily accessible and available on one floor. The comfortable double bed is tucked away in a cosy nook behind the modern sofa, and the well-equipped kitchen at one end of the living area is small but perfectly formed, containing all the home-from-home essentials you’ll need to make your stay here a comfortable one.

Mawgan Porth itself is just 2 miles from this property and situated midway between Padstow and Newquay on the spectacularly rugged North Cornish coast. Here you’ll find a soft and sandy west facing beach with stunning scenery and wonderful walks that you can enjoy with your canine companion all year round. The village centre contains a selection of pubs, restaurants, cafes and takeaway restaurants, many of which welcome dogs, where you can refuel hungry bellies after an exciting day of splashing in the waves and chasing seagulls. The Eden Project can be found 19 miles from the cottage, and here dogs are able to enjoy the miles of outdoor paths that criss-cross their way around the famous biomes. You’d be quackers to miss this one!

An ideal location in the countryside, yet near to Mawgan Porth only 5 mins drive away and really no distance at all to the other local beaches and Newquay town centre, access to A30 if you like to go further afield. A lovely holiday cottage in an unspoilt remote part of beautiful Cornwall. Two patio doors open out to breathtaking views of the countryside. Clean and tidy and equipped with everything that you need should you decide to self cater. The cream tea in the fridge was a lovely touch and much appreciated after a long drive. Would highly recommend!

Very nice cottage was lovely to see the ducks and llamas. The owners were very pleasant and accommodating. Would definetly stay there again. Only word of warning is the internet is very poor but nothing the owners can do about that. A1*
