Ideal location to get away from it all and relax surrounded by nature, Deer, Ponies, pigs, Pheasants and most noticeable was a goshawk seen from both the balcony and at the side of the road.

The cottage was ideal for us staying with our three year old, with the bedroom, bathroom and kitchen downstairs and a lovely lounge upstairs. The location is great - very close to key New Forest activities. Sophia was a fantastic host and made us very welcome - our daughter loved feeding the chickens! Thanks so much.

We chose Purnel Cottage because of its location close to the main areas of interest locally. The cottage provides a peaceful haven at the end of each day. The sitting room upstairs is a good viewing point onto the fields with the pheasants. It is well appointed and feels very cosy, complete with a selection of books. I particularly enjoyed reading Read moreabout the New Forest. There are also art books. Mrs Moore made us very welcome from the time we arrived and ensured we had everything we needed. Hide
