Located at the heart of pretty Seahouses village, this charming cottage is the perfect spot for a family escape. Within walking distance of the idyllic harbour and main street, with ample footpaths, beaches, castles and more to explore nearby. The historic house sleeps five guests across two comfortable bedrooms and has plenty of space for your four-legged friends to relax after a day of chasing sticks.
Step into the original hallway where, in a bygone era, herrings were rolled from the kitchen. Unwind in the spacious lounge beside the wood burner, which sits inside a stunning stone-built open fireplace. Feel right at home as you snuggle up on the comfortable seating for a family film night, with a collection of films to watch. The open-plan kitchen/diner makes a wonderful spot for a hearty breakfast or step outside where you’ll find a large open patio area that’s the perfect spot for dining alfresco. Upstairs you’ll find two bedrooms, the master super king-size bedroom and a triple bunk bedroom with a double bed and a single bunk over.
During the day the Northumberland coast is your oyster. Spot the seals and puffins onboard a cruise around the nearby Farne Islands, explore the beauty of Bamburgh Castle and its beach (3.5 miles), or relax on the unspoilt sands of Beadnell Bay (3 miles). Holy Island is just 19 miles away across the causeway, which you would be barking mad to miss.
