Come together with extended family and friends to enjoy this Grade II listed Georgian townhouse situated in the heart of Richmond.
This elegant townhouse, in the bustling market town of Richmond, sleeps ten guests and two furry friends. Situated just on the fringe of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, you’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to dog walks in the area. You’ll also be near some fabulous paw-friendly attractions, including Thorp Perrow Arboretum (15 miles) and Richmond Castle (0.5 miles).
Set over three floors, this stylish Georgian property benefits from a fantastic location, right in the heart of the town. The house boasts two lounge areas, meaning its easy for you and the hounds to find a quiet little spot to unwind after a busy day. In the evening, rustle up a hearty meal in the stylish kitchen, and either congregate in the spacious dining area or head outside for a night of good food and laughter under the stars. The large, south-facing patio is the ideal place to relax with a book, whilst the hounds enjoy a siesta in the sunshine.
Thorp Perrow Arboretum is a tranquil and peaceful spot. Pop the pups on a lead and wander around the 100 acres, marvelling at some of England’s largest and rarest trees, before grabbing a bite to eat in the tearoom (woofers are welcome in the outdoor seating area). Immerse yourself in history at Richmond Castle. You and the hounds can explore this fascinating Norman fortress, before sitting down for a picnic overlooking the picturesque River Swale. On a hot day, the shady woodlands at Hudswell Wood National Trust (1.5 miles) are a great option. Again, you can enjoy a picnic by the river, as well as one of the four colour-coded walks and a spot of birdwatching.
