One of two lovely three storey properties, within easy reach of the local town, this is a great opportunity to stay and enjoy all Brixham has to offer.
This pretty fisherman’s cottage is perfectly placed in the harbour area of Brixham, within a gentle stroll of colourful tearooms, pubs and fishing boats offering trips out to sea. As you meander along the narrow lanes and catch glimpses of blue between cottages, you will want to explore this quintessential seaside village more. At every turn, you will find water bowls and dog treats on offer and coastal paths if you choose to keep walking. If you need more space for your clan, you can also book the cottage next door.
This house has been lovingly restored with white walls, exposed brickwork, creative individual touches and coastal-inspired shades. A very deceptive home over three floors, it offers space alongside privacy with a bathroom for each of the bedrooms. Relax after a day of adventure, curled up on the sofa to watch your favourite TV show, whilst your fur babies stretch out on their blankets. Empty bowls and tired dogs, a glass of wine and a good book before bed – it doesn’t get much better.
Plenty of coastal walks are at hand with the South West Coast Path a few minutes away. The dogs will love the local beaches, all less than a mile away, with space to run and splash in the waves. St Mary’s Bay is the thriving hub of dog walking, therefore, the place to be seen for a sociable hound. Fishcombe Cove is beautifully secluded and perfect for dogs and humans to paddle. Shoalstone is a fabulous family beach with no canine restrictions, a great saltwater swimming pool for safe swimming, a cafe and a Visitor Centre. There are plenty of water sports along the coast and Torquay is 8.5 miles away for independent shops and restaurants.
