A stylish and contemporary lodge offering single-storey accommodation with an open-plan living space and enclosed patio garden, located centrally in the market town of Holt.

This cosy lodge-style property has all the charm of an idyllic rural bolthole, yet enjoys a fantastic location in the heart of a bustling Norfolk town. Sleeping four guests across two comfortable bedrooms, it is a fantastic escape for families or a small group of friends. Don’t forget Fido! Your canine companion could soon be sniffing out adventure along the beautiful coastline just 4.5 miles away.

Accessed via a long driveway, the interior of this single-level property is fresh and contemporary, yet softened with homely details such as a crackling wood burner, wooden floors and a beamed ceiling. The open-plan kitchen/diner/lounge area is the hub of the home, where itineraries are planned, good wine is poured and delicious treats are devoured. After a busy day exploring, the two snug bedrooms offer a welcoming retreat for a restful night’s sleep. Both have handy en-suites, one of which features a small shower over bath – ideal for washing muddy paws. Stepping outside, there’s ample off-road parking for two cars as well as a garage, and a charming enclosed patio garden is an irresistible spot for your morning coffee.

Holt is a masterpiece of Georgian architecture, featuring a scattering of independent shops, art galleries and cafes within half a mile of your doorstep. Leave no stick unfetched as you navigate over 100 acres of ancient woodland at Holt County Park 0.5 miles away, or head to the coast to discover miles of beautiful saltmarshes such as the hound-approved Cley-next-the-Sea and Stiffkey, both within 9 miles. Nature enthusiasts should definitely pencil in a boat trip from Blakeney Point 5.5 miles away, where you can admire scores of birdlife and curious seal pups along the coast with Rover in tow.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Pippins Lodge is ideally situated, a short walk into Holt itself. It's very difficult to find property which is all on one level, making this completely suitable for people who have problems with mobility.

We had a truly great time. Centrally located it was so easy for my elderly aunt to walk into the town where there are so many interesting and independent shops. The cottage itself was beautiful and extremely well equipped, welcoming and warm. We intend to come again next year.

A lovely cottage located in the centre of Holt which gives the convenience of excellent shops and easy access to the coast at either Sheringham or Cromer. and indeed to the other North Norfolk coastal villages. The cottage is fitted out with all the equipment you are likely to need.
