Dating back to 1850, this delightful cottage has been tastefully modernised into a stylish and welcoming hideaway for two, complete with cosy lounge, contemporary kitchen and patio garden.

The stylishly designed kitchen contains everything you should need for rustling up romantic meals for two, plus a butler’s sink, oak worktops and a stable door opening onto the patio. Upstairs, the elegant double-height master bedroom is decorated in a calming boutique hotel style and opens onto an en-suite shower room with large walk-in shower. Outside, the small southeast-facing unfenced patio is perfect for al fresco drinks and overlooks the medieval churchyard and old priory grounds.

The cottage was clean, well equipped and more than adequate for two. There were little things that showed it had been furnished thoughtfully -like kitchen scissors, condiments, etc -items often missing in other cottages we have stayed in. We did move the table into the sitting room, not being keen to eat from trays, but once moved it stayed there aRead morell week. The patio was most welcome as was the milk, butter & bread as the shop closed before we arrived. The village is great. Hide

Stayed for three nights. Lovely cosy cottage, very quiet. The kitchen is small so we ate food from a tray off our knee but its not a problem. Very well equipped. Nothing I could think.of wasn't there. Love the idea of their free shelf, basically leave what you don't use and use what others have left. Beautiful tea shops in the village, the local puRead moreb was friendly and done food. We didn't eat there but it looked very good. Bedroom was beautiful, the bedding was luxurious. Bathroom beautiful. Hide
