The spacious property offers plenty of room for all your guests – including those of the four-legged variety – to spread out and relax during the holiday. There’s a fabulous shared garden that enjoys sunshine for most of the day into the early evening, which your favourite furry companion is bound to enjoy exploring. In the evening, you can all snuggle up in front of the TV in the cosy lounge. The wooden floors downstairs also make cleaning up muddy pawprints nice and easy.
When it comes to day trips, you won’t be disappointed with the fantastic array of dog-friendly activities in the Peak District. Just 9 miles away is the majestic Chatsworth House, where your canine companions are more than welcome to potter around in the grounds. The historic spa town of Buxton is also definitely worth a visit and is very geared up for walkers and their furry sidekicks with numerous excellent pubs and cafes to choose from, such as The Old Clubhouse and Upstairs at Charlotte’s. When it comes to dog walks, you’re spoilt for choice too. The Monyash Meander is perfect for an evening stroll and the traffic-free Tissington Trail is great for a family outing, with most of the route being flat and both dog and pushchair friendly.
