Find your inviting home sitting on the owner’s working farm with fantastic views reaching as far as the Lake District. Tails will wag as soon as your four-pawed pals see the fabulous, shared lawn space where they can play fetch to their heart’s content as you sit with a drink on your patio. The open-plan living space is decorated with a simple style and has exposed beams which bring character and charm. Whet your appetite with a treat or two rustled up in the kitchen where there is ample space for all hands on deck to cook up a storm. Plate up at the table before settling on the sofa with your pups at your feet for a quiet night in front of the Smart TV. What a brilliant place. The views are absolutely stunning, quiet location on a raised aspect. Beautifully completed and very comfortable. We were concerned about all our wet and muddy walking kit so a tray for shoes/boots just inside the door may be an idea and a drying rack for clothes or just a few plastic hangers? We would definitely stay again Read moreand have already recommended to friends. Hide

Really enjoyable week. A great location for exploring in and around the Yorkshire 3 peaks. The lodge is really nicely furnished and Terry is a very friendly and helpful host without being too visible.

Lovely well appointed accommodation, everything good quality, nice towels! Stunning views over the river valley, right direction to see lovely sunsets. Welcome pack of bread, milk, coffee, biscuits very welcome. Ample storage for our bikes. Nothing too much trouble for our host, Terry who ensures the place is immaculate. The location is about a milRead moree (steeply uphill) from High Bentham with pubs, a Co-op, Butcher and Baker. We'll be back! Hide

We absolutely loved Pear Tree Cottage. It is in a beautiful location, rural, yet very close to Bentham should you need supplies. The cottage is very well equipped and very clean and sharp. The cottage is credit to Terry, who built it. Nothing was too much trouble for Terry, who was an excellent host. We WILL return. Thank you Terry!
