In a quiet village setting, this luxurious cottage easily sleeps four across two bedrooms with space for two canine pals too. It’s ideal for families and walkers who want a comfortable and stylish place to relax in before heading out to enjoy the variety of terrain that this region offers, from its gently rolling hills to the rugged moorland plateau of Kinder Scout. On arrival, take a set of steps with a wrought-iron handrail up to the cottage interior which is all on one level. Enter the patio doors into the cosy lounge where relaxed seating embraces a toasty wood burner. A TV and DVD, books, films, and games keep guests entertained, though your canine pals hope that their four-legged sense of humour will be more interesting. The well-equipped kitchen and dining area has every convenience to make your stay comfortable, and the bedrooms could not be closer when the land of nod beckons. Outside, there’s a large lawned garden with a private hot tub and seating for sunny afternoons. Enjoy al fresco dining around the BBQ. There is also a lovely water feature.

Really nicely appointed cottage and perfect for couples or a small family, and great that it's dog friendly. The hot tub is a great asset and the pub being so local was really handy. A couple of small issues, but the hosts live on-site and were really helpful in terms of sorting things out

A lovely cottage, clean and very well equipped. But, whilst the garden is enclosed, it is NOT secure. Add to that busy roads very close by and we could not allow our dogs out in the garden unsupervised.

Really good little cottage, very comfortable and well stocked utensil-wise. Very warm and cosy, nicely decorated. Fantastic location. Great for dog walks right from the cottage. Short drive away from Bakewell and other interesting towns and villages.

We enjoyed a great week at Robin Hood cottage. The cottage has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The back garden is large and not over looked, great for the dog!! and the hot tub is perfect to relax in after a good walk. The Robin Hood pub is only next door and they serve good food if you don't want to cook, it is also dog friendly. The oRead morewners are very nice people and run a B&B next door. Excellent breakfast available for delivery to your table. We plan to return in the future. Hide

A wonderful cottage, a home from home, very well equiped kitchen, clean and comfortable, great hot tub, the location is perfect for gorgeous long walks, close to restaurants, lots to see and do. We loved it! Tips for dog owners. The gated fence to the garden from the car park had to be secured with a garden chair to stop our staffy crosses getting Read moreout, one of our dogs also managed to get on the stone shed roof from the garden, be mindful if you have bigger, stronger dogs, small dogs would be ok Hide

A very cosy and well equipped cottage. Walks from the doorstep up onto the edges or over to Chatsworth. Would thoroughly recommend.

Positives were great hot tub, really comfy beds, plenty of towels, well stocked kitchen, bathroom products were a nice touch, plenty of hot water, nicely decorated, online guidebook to the cottage and local activity leaflets provided, taxi numbers provided and a good selection of DVD's. The negatives are that the internet access is poor, the cottagRead moree could have been cleaner as there were spider webs everywhere and a dirty BBQ and oven trays and only a very small fridge provided.
