A superb barn conversion in the rural parish of Linkinhorne, perfect for family breaks and exploring the whole region thanks to the central location of the property.

Situated in the countryside, although this beautiful property is attached to the owner’s home, you are guaranteed seclusion. On the edge of Bodmin Moor, there are plenty of opportunities to stretch your legs and explore the Cornish wilderness, whilst the Jamaica Inn is also nearby for a hit of culture and history. Sibleyback Lake is just over six miles away, offering an array of water sports and activities, with Trethorne Leisure Park and St Mellion Resort within easy reach. Ideally located for both the north and south coast, the seaside villages of Polperro and Looe, and the golden sands of Padstow and Polzeath, are easily accessible, with Plymouth within driving distance for a huge range of eateries, shops and amenities.   

The large and spacious lounge/diner welcomes you into the property, with plenty of room for all the family. Comfortable furnishings mean you’ll be able to relax when watching the large Smart TV/DVD. There is a wood burner for the colder months (first basket of logs included) and a large dining table to seat up to eight people in front of French doors out onto the balcony. The kitchen/diner is light and airy, with another large table and seating. The kitchen comprises of an electric oven and hob, fridge, dishwasher, microwave and coffee maker, and a radio/CD. There is also a shower room with WC. On the lower ground floor, there is an additional snug lounge, which has a comfy sofa and large TV/DVD and ports for plugging in any consoles you wish to take. There is a door to an enclosed patio area, and steps down to the utility room, with washing machine, tumble dryer, freezer, additional fridge, and large storage space. On the first floor, there are four bedrooms: the master bedroom has a king-size bed, TV, and en-suite shower room with WC. This is accessed via a large bedroom with twin beds, with a further twin bedroom and another room with double bed. The main bathroom on this floor has a bath and WC.

Outside the property benefits from a private balcony with lounge chairs for soaking up the sun, accessed via the lounge/diner. There is also an enclosed patio area with garden furniture and gas BBQ, and adjacent to the cottage is an acre of fenced grass for games and dogs. Football goal and badminton set available. There is private off-road parking for four cars.
 

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Wonderful holiday home. The owners really have thought of everything. The king sized bed is the comfiest ever. We could not fault the house at all. If you wanted something it was there. The owners were friendly and lube next door but they leave you to your holiday. They have a fabulous area for families to run around - the owner let my 4 year old hRead moreave a tractor ride around the field with him. It made his holiday! Its location is perfect for both north and south of the county. Want to go back! Hide

The cottage is spacious and was reasonably good value for money with lots of outside space and equipment for outdoor games provided. The owners live next door if you need anything they are very approachable. The location is quiet with some nice walks but beware there are very narrow lanes to drive around if you want to go further afield, however thRead moreis is Cornwall - the nearest beach is over 30 minutes drive away. One negative - there are lots of notes around with do's and don't -too many rules! Hide

Spacious cottage in a good location for exploring North and South Cornwall coasts. Very well equipped with everything you need. Nice views and good pub within easy walking distance.
