Immerse yourself in the scenic countryside of this corner of Devon during your stay at this charming holiday cottage with beautiful views. Up to two guests and one happy hound can relax at the retreat, which is one of four properties within the idyllic location, 2 miles from Buckland Brewer. Find an abundance of character inside as well as outside at this exquisite rural conversion. Relax together in your inviting lounge, with its exposed stone wall and beams. Switch on the wood burner effect fire to let Rex bask in the warmth after long rainy rambles, while you watch TV from the sofa or indulge in a romantic meal for two at your table. Probably best for summer visits. Its not far from a lot of the major attractions but the small one track roads full of pot holes are off putting. If you have a 4x4 i then go for it.

This was a really nice cottage in a great rural situation. It was very comfortable, and the owners available and helpful.

The cottage is located in a beautiful setting with fantastic views. So peaceful when sitting in the garden with a morning coffee. Inside it is to a very high standard in terms of furnishings and cleanliness. Comfortable bed, perfect shower and spacious living/kitchen. The owners are lovely and went out of their way to make my parents comfortable.

A lovely cottage in the middle of nowhere requiring several miles of driving down very narrow roads to get there. Once there its a very quiet & peaceful location.

Really lovely cottage, friendly hosts and the cream tea on arrival was a lovely touch along with the fresh flowers. The only downside of this cottage was that it was extremely remote, fine if you want to shut yourself away for a couple of days for peace and quiet, but if you want to visit surrounding attractions the remoteness makes it a bit of a trekRead more. Ideal cottage for two + dog , very quiet in a very rural location . Outdoor sitting area just right in the afternoon and evening to enjoy a bottle of merlot. Plenty of character in the cottage and location .
