This charming stone cottage in the peaceful village of Wiveton is surrounded by countryside and sits just over 1 mile from the coast and Blakeney Nature Reserve. Sleeping five guests across three beautiful bedrooms and with two canine companions welcome too, this is the perfect property for a family and their four-pawed members looking to stay on the glorious North Norfolk Coast.
The cottage is immaculate inside, with its original character details lovingly restored and complemented by soft pastel shades highlighted with the occasional splash of colour. The beautiful sitting/dining room is elegant and comfortable, with seating invitingly arranged around the huge inglenook fireplace. After a day in the bracing sea air, light the wood burner and relax while your furry friend basks in the warmth. The adjacent kitchen is smart and well-equipped for holiday meals. The bathroom is also on the ground floor, along with the pretty master bedroom which has a door opening into the garden – perfect for letting your hound out first thing in the morning. Upstairs on the first floor is a spacious triple room with an optional pull-out bed, suitable for a young family. Outside the pretty cottage garden is idyllic and offers an enclosed space for your four-footed friend to snuffle about in safety.
Nearby Blakeney Nature Reserve and the North Norfolk Coastal Path offer miles of waggy-tailed walks to enjoy before a lunchtime pint in Wiveton’s dog-friendly pub. Seal-spotting boat trips are available at Blakeney and well-behaved dogs are welcome, so there is no need to leave your canine companion at home. Further along the coast, beautiful Holkham Beach (11 miles) is a paradise for dogs, with soft golden sand backed by pine trees to play on and explore. The lovely town of Sheringham (8 miles) is home to beautiful Sheringham Park and Felbrigg Hall, both of which offer plenty of opportunities for exercising your four-legged friends.
