Attractive cosy cottage in a tranquil location, just a short drive from foodie haven Padstow and close to many beautiful beaches.

Welcomed inside by the characterful stone exterior, canines and their companions are invited to make themselves immediately at home. Snuggle up and sprawl out in the open-plan living space before devouring some tasty treats and heading out to explore. Adventures are plentiful in this gorgeous corner of the world and around every corner lies a stick waiting to be chewed, chased and chomped.

The open-plan living style creates a warming, communal hub of the house. Take it in turns to be swallowed up by the sofas and do the tea run in the neighbouring kitchen, a light bright space. On sunny evenings throw open the doors and let fresh air flood inside and when the nights draw in, light the wood burner and watch your furry friend sidle into the top spot on the warm rug. The contemporary bathroom is conveniently located on the ground floor where muddy paws and soggy tails can be fluffed up on returning from the great outdoors. Also on the ground floor is the master bedroom. Classically decorated, this room is accessible to those who struggle with stairs. Climbing up the steep cottage-style staircase is the twin room. The quirky sloping ceiling adds character, but please note it has restricted headroom.

After popping outside for a scamper around the garden, head 1.5 miles into Padstow. Pick up a tasty pastry and roam the vibrant harbour and twisting streets lined with thriving shops, galleries and cafes. Hop on the boat to Rock where season permitting, dogs can frolic in the sand and sea and feel the salty air whip through their fur. Having worked up an appetite return to Padstow where you are absolutely spoilt for choice when deciding where to fill hungry tums.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Lovely cottage set in a very quiet location. Farm shop next door selling delicious eggs and sausages and theres the touring park up the lane for baked goods (need to order in advance). Easy drive down to Padstow. Was a little disappointed we couldnt walk down to the estuary given how close we were. The second bedroom has very limited head height anRead mored is accessed via a narrow staircase but is fine for children. Overall a very enjoyable stay. Hide

The cottage itself was lovely. My only criticism of it would be the very limited headroom in the second bedroom - really only suitable for children. Access to the surrounding countryside was very restricted and we had to drive to walk our dog. The location is good with a very good beach at Harlyn (dog friendly) and intersting shops at Padstow.

Property was well appointed, looked really nice on the outside and inside, had all we needed for cooking and was in an excellent location. Overall, cottage was excellent - thank you for letting us stay, we had a great time there.
