Boasting a pretty garden and hot tub, this wonderful property provides the ideal base for family and friends to come together and explore the surrounding countryside.
Nestled amongst the rolling hills on the cusp of Skipton is this impressive farmhouse that boasts a hot tub for the ultimate treat as well as a thoughtful welcome pack. Sleeping eight humans and three hounds, it’s an excellent base for discovering the Yorkshire Dales and Bronte Country. Your pup will feel instantly at home too, thanks to the thoughtful addition of a throne bed in the lounge, perfect for snuggling.
Traditionally styled with timber beams adorned with horse brasses and several nods to countryside heritage, the lounge is a haven for relaxing. There’s a crackling wood burner, comfortable sofas and a coffee table at nose height for your pooch to watch you delve into some goodies. Pad through to the kitchen and rustle up something delicious to enjoy around the farmhouse-style table, moving through to the sunroom to unwind afterwards. At bedtime, you’ll find a bedroom on the ground floor alongside a shower room, and the remaining three bedrooms are upstairs sharing a bathroom, but one has the added bonus of an en-suite. Outside, the garden has a hot tub, a BBQ for special al fresco meals and a gas fire pit, as well as shared access to a field – take care in the garden by the unfenced pond.
The surrounding countryside has plenty of delights in store for humans and hounds alike. Scamper along The Pennine Way, explore Bronte Country and venture into the Yorkshire Dales (9 miles) in search of adventure. Skipton, 8 miles away, is a market town steeped in history with a medieval castle alongside its many contemporary shops and bistros. Bolton Abbey, 14.5 miles away, is another great choice for a day trip, with riverside walks and woodland trails which Fido is welcome to sniff out if he’s happy to be kept on a lead.
