You can feed your four-pawed friends in the kitchen then prepare your own dinner to enjoy at the table next door. Head upstairs to relax in either the king-size or double bedroom; the family bathroom is up here too. On warm days, climb the outside stairs at the back of the house to light the BBQ and dine out on the raised terrace. Call your dogs to join you in the fresh air. Parking at the cottage is on the street, on a first-come, first-served basis.

Mam Tor, 9 miles away, is another great place to take your happy hounds. Embark upon a stunning 3-mile circular walk here, taking in magnificent, panoramic views across the Peak District. Spend a morning or two in Buxton, famous for its Georgian architecture. Shop here and find dog-friendly pubs where weary paws can rest while you enjoy a tasty meal and a pint.
