The detached, spacious property, complete with large garden, is situated in the quaint village of Glasson, close to the Solway coast, making it the perfect peaceful getaway for large groups.

As you walk into the property, you will be greeted by the large lounge complete with a cosy wood burner for those family nights in. The kitchen is the heart of this cottage, offering ample space to gather a group, cook up delicious meals and enjoy a bite to eat together. As you continue to make your way through the cottage, you will find five bedrooms in addition to two bathrooms. Outside, there is plenty of space, with enclosed front garden for the pups to stretch their legs in, with the added benefit of outdoor seating so you can soak up your peaceful surroundings.

The village of Glasson in situated on the Solway Coast, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, lying north of the Lake District National Park and south of the Scottish Borders; when it comes to scenic walking trails and picturesque sightseeing, the options are endless. The Ramsar site, Upper Solway Flats and Marshes, is within easy reach of this property; here seals, dolphins and porpoises have been sighted offshore. What’s more, the Glasson Moss National Nature Reserve, that makes up part of the largest undamaged area of lowland raised mire in Britain, is on your doorstep, offering an abundance of walking trails to appeal to you and your dogs alike.

Bit of an expensive stay. I accept this was probably due to the time of year. Owners let us check in early which was brilliant. Unfortunately there was lots of dust/webs around the property (I accept this is an old building but the TV stand was covered also) It stated dog friendly, but there was a sign stating that they weren't allowed upstairs whiRead morech we found misleading. Comfy family holiday home. good location for walks and visiting Hadrian's wall sites. Not too far to go to the lakes and into Scotland. Well stocked kitchen for large groups.

Great accommodation in a lovely setting. Felt very homely, not too posh you were scared to relax. Solid walls so you could sleep in peace without being disturbed by others in the house, a big bonus with small children! We were a group of 8 (plus 2 dogs) who stayed for 7 nights. There was plenty of parking available in the private car park, we had a van and 3 cars comfortably fit and there was room for another car too. The house is lovely inside, a nice big kitchen with all the equipment needed to cook anything you want. there's a nice big fridge/freezer too so thRead moree big shop we brought to the house fit easily. Lovely cottage, very well equipped for a large group. with only 2 bathrooms we did think showers would be an issue but there was no lack of hot water. Cottage was warm and spacious. Beds were comfy. Was a bit of a squeeze getting all 10 of us round the dining table but we managed! Hosts were fantastic in sending loads of information prior to our arRead morerival.
