Spend the day exploring the beautiful dog-friendly gardens and park of Chatsworth House (2.5 miles) or head to the historic town of Bakewell (4.5 miles) for a well-deserved treat. Follow the former Midland railway line of the Monsal Trail (4.5 miles) for as far as your two or four legs will take you. This traffic-free footpath runs for 8.5 miles weaving through the national park, through tunnels and past the stunning rolling hills and countryside.
