After a day of exploring the hills and nearby trails, dust off muddy paws and boots and warm up in front of the open fire with a hot chocolate.
Relax on the comfy sofa in the lounge, with a sprawled out pup at your feet, dreaming of tomorrow’s walkies. Admire the original wooden beams present throughout the house, as well as the character features, bespoke furniture and handpicked fabrics. Enjoy a family meal around the ornate table in the beautifully decorated contemporary kitchen/diner. Make the most of the afternoon sun in the conservatory with a good book, as Fido strolls around the paved patio. At the end of a long day, weary legs are beckoned by one of the two stunning bedrooms. Wake feeling refreshed and enjoy a morning coffee in the sunshine as you plan the day’s adventures.
Spend the day exploring the beautiful dog-friendly gardens and park of Chatsworth House (2.5 miles) or head to the historic town of Bakewell (4.5 miles) for a well-deserved treat. Follow the former Midland railway line of the Monsal Trail (4.5 miles) for as far as your two or four legs will take you. This traffic-free footpath runs for 8.5 miles weaving through the national park, through tunnels and past the stunning rolling hills and countryside.
Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
