This superb property dates back over 400 years and was once the heart of a working family farm. Completely renovated and restored with plenty of period charm throughout and set in an unrivalled location on a working farm close to popular Bude. A perfect haven to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Located on a working farm, this sympathetically converted barn is a cosy rural retreat for two and four-legged friends alike. Set out on foot to explore the sprawling countryside that surrounds the property before taking to the rugged Cornish coastline where vast sandy beaches and the South West Coast Path above offer fantastic dog walking routes. Afterwards, while your beloved canines dry off in the handy utility room, make a start on lighting the wood burner and preparing for a cosy evening in.
Sleeping 12 guests across six bedrooms and with five bathrooms, this is a fantastic choice for large family get-togethers and also offers a delightful detached annexe for two people. Designed with guests of all ages in mind, the choice of facilities includes a children’s play area and games room complete with pool table, darts board and Nintendo Wii together with a sunken hot tub and sauna, ensuring that everyone is catered for. When it’s time to relax as a family, choose from the plethora of films in the DVD library, bring out the popcorn and curl up with your furry friends in front of the cosy wood burner. During the summer months, dine alfresco in the enclosed grassed garden or allow your dogs to roam freely and safely in the enclosed orchard.
The farm is surrounded by beautiful unspoilt Cornish countryside, perfect for morning walks with the dogs. A 6-mile drive will bring you to the coastal resort of Bude where you will find sandy beaches, a golf course and selection of shops, cafes and pubs, many of which will be delighted to accommodate four-legged friends. Once you have finished splashing in the waves, climb up to the South West Coast Path where bracing walks are rewarded by spectacular scenery every step of the way.
Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
