If you love the idea of a holiday right by the sea, this charming cottage is just what you are looking for. With an enclosed back garden that opens straight onto the shingle beach, this cottage is perfect for a family and their beloved four-legged friend.

This pretty cottage is full of charm. Light and bright, with lovely features and quirky colourful touches throughout, it is a truly idyllic seaside retreat. The open-plan living space has lovely warm wooden floors and a comfy sofa, perfect for relaxing with your furry friend after a day on the beach. At the end of the garden steep steps lead up to the beach, so first thing in the morning you and your canine companion can enjoy a game of fetch and walkies by the sea.

Enjoy a stroll through its quaint timbered streets and enjoy the views from its hilltop position before heading down to Rye Harbour Nature Reserve for a waggy-tailed walk by the sea. Just beyond Rye is glorious Camber Sands (15 miles) famous for its miles of soft sand, and perfect for a picnic and a paddle with your pooch in the shallow water. The historic seaside town of Hastings is just 7 miles from the cottage. Hastings Country Park offers spectacular walks close to the sea, where you and your furry friend can explore cliffs, woodlands and nature trails, before heading back to Hastings’ picturesque old town for an ice cream or a pot of tea.

The little cottage has a very homely atmosphere and in a great location for beaches and many places of interest. My dog Muppet and I loved the beach at Pett Level when the tide was out, you could walk for miles and it was very refreshing and relaxing.

Clean and well appointed cottage in fabulous location with garden and direct access to the beach. The sea view is limited from upper window but this can be easily remedied, and we look forward to returning at some point.

We had a very good week. The house is comfortable and the situation is perfect. Might be worth mentioning that the shower over the bath could be a challenge for older or less able visitors.

A wonderful cottage with traditional amenities. A lovely addition with the sofa in the conservatory as this now feels better with the blinds to sit and read in. Great local visits with helpful leaflets in house and amazing walks!!

Great location, cosy cottage ideal for the two of us and a small dog. Think it would be a push for four adults. Also any children would be sleeping on a separate floor, so not suitable for young children Throughly enjoyed our week hope to come back.
