Gaze out over the rolling green hills of Mid Wales from this traditional terraced cottage, located in the vibrant market town of Knighton. This is the perfect retreat for a couple or growing family, and with a lovely enclosed garden, bring your dog for extra holiday fun.
Find the property along a pretty terraced street. Through the front door, you’ll find a light and stylish sitting room with a traditional stone fireplace and an electric fire for cosying up in the evening. Head straight through into the kitchen/diner, with all the equipment you need for cooking up a feast during your stay. From the kitchen, a sweet set of steps leads up to the grassy garden, with a patio area and a BBQ so you can enjoy al fresco meals while the sun shines. Upstairs, there’s the master double bedroom with a feature wall of period stone, and a lovely single room perfect for a young guest.
The market town of Knighton is full of character, just like the cottage. Dog-friendly pubs and cafes abound for you to explore less than a mile away. Then, visit the namesake of your cottage, Offa’s Dyke, just a hundred metres or so from your front door. The Offa’s Dyke Path weaves along the River Teme and around the wild-flowered hills at the edge of the Brecon Beacons, where you can tire out that pup even more across miles of rolling and rocky moors. A little further afield, the historic town of Ludlow and its beautiful castle grounds are a 17-mile drive away for a medieval adventure
