Set in a beautiful rural location with fabulous countryside views, an enclosed orchard and woodland walks right outside the front door, you and your hound will love holidaying in this cottage and sniffing out some of the best dog-friendly areas that south-west Wales has to offer. This single-storey property, which adjoins the owner’s accommodation, is perfect for two guests and one four-pawed pal. It sits peacefully between Carmarthen, the oldest town in Wales (7.5 miles away) and Llandeilo on the hill above the River Towy (8.5 miles away).
This cosy little cottage offers an open-plan living room/kitchen/diner making it easy for your canine companion to always be by your side. The decor is simple yet stylish - Fido will love it – and it’s the ideal base for relaxing in the evenings, taking in the sights and sounds of nature. Your hound will love waking up in the bedroom, which looks out to the fields beyond – the perfect place for eyeing up a rabbit or two! It shares a sleek Jack and Jill shower room with WC, which can also be accessed from the hall. Outside is a lovely sitting area for enjoying a glass of vino on a warm summer’s evening.
If you really want to set tails wagging, head to the National Botanic Garden of Wales just 5 miles away from the cottage. Worried about leaving Fido out? Don’t! The National Botanic Garden of Wales also has special ‘Doggy Days’ for your four-legged friend to explore the fantastic themed gardens. If the sun’s out and you’d prefer a day at the beach, why not day-trip to Llansteffan (15.5 miles away) or take your canine buddy for a long stroll along the Millennium Coastal Path that runs from Llanelli (19.5 miles away) to Pembrey Country Park (20.5 miles away).
Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
