A beautiful countryside retreat sleeping four guests. The perfect place for you to relax surrounded by nature, with your very own private hot tub.

We believe that no holiday is complete without canine companions in tow. Therefore, this stunning countryside retreat is perfect for a small family or couple who want to bring along up to two dogs to share their adventures. Not only is the property perfectly placed to explore the Solway Firth with its 200 miles of stunning coastline, but the lodge itself provides a welcome retreat with everything you need for a relaxing break. There’s even a private hot tub overlooking the rolling hills - you’d been barking mad not to book a stay here!

This lodge provides a real home-from-home experience. It has been decorated in soothing earthy tones and has comfortable leather sofas which surround a wood burner-effect electric fire and TV for cosy nights in. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner has doors which lead out onto a private decked area and windows that overlook the surrounding countryside. Cook a special meal in the well-equipped kitchen and dine in the cosy lounge. Two bedrooms complete the space along with a fully enclosed decked area where you and your furry friends can soak up the views. For a little indulgence, why not open a bottle of fizz and step into the private hot tub?

The Scottish coastline can be easily reached by car in around 40 minutes, approximately 18 miles from the property, the Solway Firth is a stunning area which is perfect for you and your hounds to explore. A little closer to home, the market town of Dumfries is just 6 miles from your doorstep and provides ample opportunities to discover little independent shops, cosy inns and restaurants.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

The staff were friendly and very helpful. Had a great holiday. Lovely lodge, great location in the countryside but not too far from Dumfries. Lots of really good beaches which were just a short drive away. Also enjoyed some tranquil walks with our dog in the many nearby forest trails.

What a wonderful place to stay so close to everything yet set in amazing surrounding Staff so helpful Cottage and hot tub super well kept spot less every where Pamper pack a must have made the hot tub even more enjoyable We will be returning many thanks
