This beautiful stone cottage is perfect for couples that want to enjoy a slice of the Peak District rural life with loved ones where you can escape to the country.

The picturesque stone cottage is located on the edge of the Peak District and is surrounded by 27 acres of farmland. You can spend hours with your loved one and up to two canine companions exploring the wonderful landscape, with convenient footpaths and bridleways to guide the way. The local dog-friendly pub and shops are situated just 3 miles away so you have everything you need right at your doorstep. There’s even a seating area in the nearby field, take down drinks so you can relax outside in the sun listening to birds sing.

This delightful farm house cottage holds true to its roots, with beautiful exposed beams and an exposed stone wall, this classic cottage has such a homely feel. The well-equipped kitchen is perfectly appointed, with a mixture of greys and woods that give it a traditional farmhouse feel, and the dining area makes a great setting for a romantic evening meal. The lounge is lovingly decorated, with a sofa that you can sink back into after a long day of walking with your waggy-tailed ones. Put on your favourite film on the TV and snuggle up for a quiet night in. The bedroom upstairs has lovely high ceilings so the room is light and airy, and an en-suite shower room.

The Peak District has plenty of amazing walks for you all to enjoy, with everything from mountains and forests to lakes and meadows. Just bring some walking boots and you’re ready to explore the rugged beauty that lies right at your doorstep. For a more cultural experience, why not head 16 miles to the city of Stoke-on-Trent, which has plenty of dog-friendly pubs, parks and even a special dog shop with a bakery just for your beloved hounds.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Beautiful cottage and excellent hosts we had a fabulous time and our dogs loved it, the only thing that spoiled it was the weather. We will definitely be back next year in the summer. We will be recommending this to our family and friends.
