Step down into the cosy lounge area and let sleeping dogs lie by the wood burner as you prepare delicious meals in the kitchen, feasting together at the table, or outside on the patio area surrounded by panoramic views. An elegant shower room provides a soothing setting for refreshing showers and hosing down muddy paws, and upstairs there is a fabulous bedroom with a deliciously comfortable bed. A short 5.5-mile drive will bring you to Llangollen, a town straight out of a fairy tale that’s encircled by tumbling hills and steeped in history. The River Dee bubbles through the town, and there’s also a famous steam railway guaranteed to delight rail enthusiasts. Let Rex take the lead and set off on an adventure along the Offa’s Dyke path or simply enjoy a quiet stroll amongst the pretty shops and charming eateries. Further afield, Chirk Castle 7.5 miles away is a National Trust site that welcomes furry visitors throughout the estate grounds.
