Cosy detached cottage perfect for couples, in a peaceful location over looking the Ceiriog Valley, just three miles from the attractions of Llangollen.

The spectacular wilderness of the Ceiriog Valley is the ultimate destination for romantic breaks with the one you love, but its even better when you can bring your beloved pooch too. Waggy-tailed guests are welcomed with open paws in this enchanting stone cottage, and human guests will be blown away by the countryside views. Spend your days exploring near and far, returning to al fresco suppers in your private garden, listing to the sound of the stream trickling past in the fading light.

Cosy, traditional and brimming with exquisite details such as beamed ceilings, stylish furniture and a roaring wood burner, the property is a feast for the senses. Step down into the cosy lounge area and let sleeping dogs lie by the wood burner as you prepare delicious meals in the kitchen, feasting together at the table, or outside on the patio area surrounded by panoramic views. An elegant shower room provides a soothing setting for refreshing showers and hosing down muddy paws, and upstairs there is a fabulous bedroom with a deliciously comfortable bed. Outside, the paved garden is the ideal spot for sizzling up something special on the BBQ, retiring to the secluded terrace to watch the sunset.

A short 5.5-mile drive will bring you to Llangollen, a town straight out of a fairy tale that’s encircled by tumbling hills and steeped in history. The River Dee bubbles through the town, and there’s also a famous steam railway guaranteed to delight rail enthusiasts. Let Rex take the lead and set off on an adventure along the Offa’s Dyke path or simply enjoy a quiet stroll amongst the pretty shops and charming eateries. Clwyd & Siwan have created a beautifully renovated cottage in a most tranquil location above Glyn Ceiriog in the Ceiriog Valley. The cottage is superbly equipped and had everything we needed. The cottage was super cosy with ample heating for chilly nights and the log burner was a lovely bonus with a good supply of logs provided. The outside area waRead mores equally lovely and our favourite spot for morning coffee. The location is perfect for visiting local highlights, such as Llangollen. Recommended. Hide

A very comfortable cottage in beautiful countryside. An ideal place to enjoy walking far from the madding crowd. Basic shopping is available at the post office/shop in the village and a nice meal at the Craft and Kitchen.
