Follow the South West Path to Coverack or the historic ruins at Poltesco with your intrepid dog.
The layout of the apartment is a pleasing mix of modernity and convenience. On arrival you will encounter first encounter the spacious open-plan lounge / diner / kitchen with its huge sofa and TV to curl up in front of after an active day exploring The Lizard. There is a fully-equipped kitchen containing handy conveniences to make your self-catering stay more comfortable. Set apart from the living area are two restful bedrooms – both of which are super-king size doubles that can be made in to two twin-singles on request. The first bedroom has an en-suite shower room with WC. Nearby you will also find the main bathroom containing a shower over the bath.
This property offers access to a shared lawn and patio area, although the beautiful beach is just a few minutes’ walk away down the hill. Let your dog lead the way as it’s a great place for them to play in the shallows and sniff at the rock pools. There is one parking space at the property for your car, but you are in walking distance to the local restaurants which open for the summer only.
Kennack Sands is tucked away at the southern end of the Lizard Peninsula, close to Goonhilly Downs and Lizard Point (which is the most southerly point of the British mainland). The beaches at Kennack Sands are wild and hemmed in by hills and cliffs. At low tide the beach becomes one but when the sea comes in you can walk to the further beach over the top of a small hill that commands great views. Be sure to take a stroll along the promenade in Coverack and enjoy a friendly lunch at the village pub. The Lizard is full of secret spots to seek out with your dog.
